First Snow of the Season Dumps in Tahoe

Start waxing your skis and boards – winter is here! The snowmaking guns are firing away, and first chair in the Tahoe area could be as early as the end of this week. Boreal is planning an Opening Day for October 26th!

Alpine Meadows: 36”

Squaw Valley: 28”

Boreal Mountain: 28”

Northstar: 9” at the base – summit still unknown

Diamond Peak: 24”

Mt. Rose: 18”

Snow is predicted to fall through Thursday.

All North Tahoe resorts are within 25-60min of downtown Reno and the Reno airport. Arrive in the morning, and be buckled in within an hour of landing!
